The war veteran Ivan Ivanovich got very sick one day (his wartime wounds had never healed). He lived alone and had no one in the world but his loyal Bim. After Ivan Ivanovich was taken to hospital, the dog had to be moved from one house to another, to live in the families of strangers. Bim experienced a lot of suffering, for he had never known the whole truth about human nature. But among a lot of different people that Bim encountered and who tried to possibly help him, there were good Samaritans, too. Almost as good as his master… Awards:
