A political thriller based on Friedrich Neznansky’s book “A Fair in Sokolniki” from the director of “Kamenskaya”, “The Point” and producer of “The Young Wolfhound” Yuri Moroz, starring Dmitri Kharatyan (“Naval Cadets, Charge!”), Vitaly Solomin (“Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson”), Yelena Yakovleva (“Intergirl”), Vasily Lanovoy (“Officers”), Armen Dzhigarkhanyan (“A Dog in the Manger”), and others.
November, 1982. In the Soviet Union, Leonid Brezhnev, General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, died after a long illness. The entire country froze in anticipation of crucial changes… At this time of uncertainty, a young trainee, Alexander Turetsky, begins to work at the General Prosecutor’s office. The newcomer gets his first complicated case – murder of the Department Head of the Ministry of Foreign Trade. In the course of investigation it turns out that the victim was a KGB secret agent…
