W 1999 godu Ewgenij natschinaet rabotat nad remiksami na komposizii populjarnych ispolnitelej. Perwoj rabotoj, polutschiwschej schirokuju iswestnost, stanowitsja ego remiks na komposiziju Belle w ispolnenii pop-dueta Smash.
W 2002 godu pereesschaet w Kiew, dlja togo tschtoby aktiwnej sanimatsja musykoj i musykalnym prodakschenom. So wremenem natschinaet rabotat praktitscheski so wsemi weduschtschimi pop-ispolniteljami Ukrainy: Ani Lorak, Natalej Mogilewskoj, Swetlanoj Lobodoj, Tinoj Karol, Gajtanoj, Alenoj Winnizkoj i mnogimi drugimi.
W konze 2007 goda Ewgenij Filatow natschinaet wystupat i sapisywatsja pod psewdonimom The Maneken.

I na etot maneken ja odewaju rasnuju musyku, to est jawljajus, po suti, disajnerom musykalnoj odeschdy, predlagaju kakuju-to kollekziju. Wot na perwom albome The Maneken odet w odeschdu fank, disko i soul-musyki, a w sledujuschtschem objasatelno budut kakie-to nowye elementy.
