Gruppa Bumboks byla sozdana v 2004 godu v Kieve muzykantami igravshimi v gruppah Akustik Sving Bend (A.Hlyvnyuk) i Tartak (V. Matiyuk i A.Samoylo). V gruppe Bumboks igraet tri cheloveka: Andrey Hlyvnyuk – vokalist i avtor vseh tekstov gruppy, Andrey Muha Samoylo – gitarist i Valentin Valik Matiyuk – di-dzhey.
