Boris Alekseevich Hmel'nickii (rodilsya 27 iyunya 1940 goda, v gorode Voroshilov) — sovetskii i rossiiskii akter teatra i kino, kompozitor, s 1964 goda po 1982 god — akter Teatra na Taganke, s 2001 goda — narodnyi artist Rossii. V 1961 godu Hmel'nickii okonchil L'vovskoe muzykal'noe uchilische. Priehav v Moskvu, proboval postupat' vo VGIK, no provalilsya na pervom ture. Chudom udalos' postupit' v Schukinskoe uchilische (tak kak Boris Hmel'nickii zaikalsya, v Schukinskom teatral'nom uchilische inogda daje ekzameny pis'menno sdaval — govorit' ne mog). V 1966 godu okonchil Teatral'noe uchilische im. B. V. Schukina (kurs A. A. Orochko). Uje na tret'em kurse Schukinskogo uchilischa, s 1964 goda, Boris uchastvoval v spektaklyah Moskovskogo teatra na Taganke. Pervoi uchebnoi postanovkoi byl vposledstvii legendarnyi spektakl' Teatra na Taganke «Dobryi chelovek iz Sezuana». V etom teatre on slujil do 1982 goda. Za dobrotu i otzyvchivost' v teatre ego nazyvali Bembi.
V 1999 godu vmeste s drugimi izvestnymi artistami prinyal uchastie v proekte Viktora Merejko i kompozitora Evgeniya Bednenko «Poyut zvezdy teatra i kino», gde s uspehom vystupil kak ispolnitel' pesen. Itogom proekta stali koncerty i muzykal'nyi disk «A sneg v Sibiri povalil», vypuschennyi v SShA i produblirovannyi «Radio MPS».
Posle smerti Vladimira Vysockogo Boris Hmel'nickii stal organizatorom ejegodnyh vecherov ego pamyati, postoyanno vystupal s koncertami. Blagodarya ego nastoichivosti v Moskve, u Pokrovskih vorot Vysockomu byl postavlen pamyatnik.
Skonchalsya ot raka 16 fevralya 2008 goda v 10:30. Pohoronen Boris Alekseevich Hmel'nickii 18 fevralya 2008 goda na Kuncevskom kladbische Moskvy.
