The Missing Jewels (Pohishchenie bogini)

Just before the opening of Maxim Orlov's chain of jewellery stores, a number of priceless antique jewels mysteriously disappear. Maxim is identified as the main suspect and arrested immediately, however, his sister, famous television director, Vera Ilinskay, does not believe that Maxim was responsible for the crime and enlists the help of her friends, Jana and Vasilina to help clear her brother's name. Jana and Vasilina work in the circus and are about to go on tour along with Vera, who will be filming their performances, however, just before they depart, Jana is killed in a tragic accident during one of the rehearsals. Despite this, the troupe leave for Prague, and it is there, that the mystery of the missing jewels is finally revealed.
