The film tells about the fate of an extraordinary woman - a known journalist, the editor of a large Moscow newspaper Veronica Sorokina. 1968. Veronika is of full strength and at the summit of the success. But in the Soviet society a successful person could not be independent and free, even in private life. The Love could be a seam in the "personal things" and turn the whole career. Veronica, impressed by their victories, makes one "wrong step" - the step to freedom. The rebellious, cynical, passionate, and reckless Veronika plays with destiny: She dares much and win much. But the life is a dangerous partner, and before you with everything or nothing plays, you should seriously think about it!
