Dmitriy Kratkov is a middle aged, disorganized and unexceptional writer whose life is turned upside down when a new neighbour arrives at his village. Natalia Andrianova is a very famous and charming clairvoyant, but Dmitriy takes an instant dislike to her and the feeling is mutual. Gradually over time, however, the animosity between them begins to thaw and like grows to love.
