Mariya Mihaylovna Poroshina rodilas' 1 noyabrya 1973 goda v Moskve v teatral'noy sem'e. Uchilas' v shkole s uglublennym izucheniem francuzskogo yazyka, zanimalas' tancem pri ansamble "Berezka". Posle okonchaniya shkoly postupila v Shkolu-studiyu MHAT, no akterskoe obrazovanie poluchila v Vysshem teatral'nom uchilische imeni B.Schukina. Vela televizionnuyu programmu "Shire krug", igrala v razlichnyh postanovkah sovremennogo i klassicheskogo repertuara, v tom chisle v teatre "Na Pokrovke" u Sergeya Arcibasheva. V nastoyaschee vremya rabotaet v teatral'noy kompanii Sergeya Vinogradova "LA TEATR", gde v 2000 godu debyutirovala rol'yu Hloi v postanovke "Pena dney". Seychas aktrisa igraet na e'toy scene roli Sesil' v "Opasnyh svyazyah" i Anais Nin v "Venus", a takzhe zanyata v antreprizah "Velikolepnyy muzhchina" i "S novym godom, Belgrad". Tvorcheskiy put' v kino Mariya Poroshina nachinala s nebol'shih roley v teleserialah, pervaya iz nih - Katya v "ABVGD Ltd" (1992), zatem byli "Dal'noboyschiki" (2000), "Salon krasoty" (2000), "Kamenskaya" (2002), "Marsh Tureckogo" (2002), "Uchastok" (2003). Togda zhe ona nachala snimat'sya v "bol'shom kino" - "Poklonnik" (1999), "Tret'ego ne dano" (1999), "Antikiller" (2002).
